As we are sure you are aware, the COVID-19 situation in Edmonton, Alberta and across the country is rapidly evolving.  The health, safety, and well-being of our team, clients and all others continue to be our paramount concern.  In balancing health risks with the need to meet regulatory and reporting deadlines, we have made the following difficult decisions effective immediately for the foreseeable future:

  • While we prefer to receive records in electronic format, (personal tax and corporate year-end related) we understand this is not always possible.  If records need to be dropped off, a table with boxes is inside the entrance to our office.  We ask that you leave your records in sealed envelopes in the boxes and our admin team will distribute as required.
  • All work scheduled to occur at our clients’ premises has been suspended and will be rescheduled.  Where possible, we ask that records be provided to us so that we can stay on schedule with any deadlines.
  • All client meetings will be held via teleconference or video conference.

All of our team members have the option to work remotely during this time.  While many are choosing this option, others remain in our offices.  Regardless of the worksite, we continue to be committed to helping you succeed.  We are available by phone and email to discuss your business issues and work towards solutions.

Hearing stories of doctors, nurses and other medical professionals coming into direct contact with exposed and infected individuals, self-quarantining from their families and then going back for another shift is both sobering and inspiring.   If you, your loved ones or someone you know is on the front lines, we are deeply appreciative of your selfless efforts in these trying times.  Thank you for all that you do.

The situation that we face is unprecedented.  It seems the information we have and the decisions we make are being adjusted minute to minute.  We remain committed to all of our stakeholders as we navigation this ever-changing situation.
