Lydia Drodge

With over a decade of experience in accounting, Lydia brings both technical expertise and a personable approach to her role at KBH. She first articled with the firm in 2011 and earned her Chartered Accountant designation in 2015. At that time, she transitioned to the healthcare industry so she could focus on starting a family.

Her time away from Public Practice was valuable, but it reinforced how much she enjoys the challenge and diversity that comes with the role. Lydia rejoined the KBH team in 2021 to once again dedicate herself to serving clients with energy and commitment.

Her focus is on owner-managed businesses across diverse industries, including construction, professional services, restaurants, child care, and agriculture. Lydia prides herself on being a non-stereotypical accountant—someone who values conversation and connection. If there’s a choice between sending an email or picking up the phone, she’ll always choose the call.

She has extensive knowledge with most bookkeeping software, enabling her to support clients with practical solutions tailored to their systems. In 2023, Lydia earned her Payroll Compliance Practitioner designation, equipping her to assist businesses with complex payroll questions and compliance challenges.

Outside the office, Lydia enjoys reading, spending time outdoors with her family, and traveling. Life stays lively thanks to her daughter’s competitive dance schedule, which ensures she’s always on the move and mastering the art of balance.
